National Literacy Trust Event

The Chamber supported the event with free room hire and refreshments, and the Skills Hub will be supporting the National Literacy Trust – Stoke-on-Trent with their events throughout 2026 for the National Year of Reading.

The information session provided details of the exciting plans from the National Literacy Trust in Stoke-on-Trent and explored how local businesses and organisations can play their part in this important initiative. We were delighted to welcome the Lord Mayor of Stoke-on-Trent, Steve Watkins, and David Williams MP, who are supporting the NLT Stoke-on-Trent in delivering various activities throughout 2026.
