A public CSR record, with built-in ongoing impact

WorktoGive Accreditation

What you get as a WorktoGive member
Most businesses want to do the right thing.
The problem isn’t intention, it’s proof.
The WorktoGive Responsible Business Assessment is a 10–12 minute questionnaire designed to measure how your business stands against modern CSR and ESG expectations.
You will answer a short series of structured questions about environmental responsibility, social contribution, fairness, and accountability.
When you complete the assessment:
• If you are a subscribed WorktoGive member, this forms part of your official accreditation process. You will receive your accreditation level, certificate, and logo by email.
• If you are not subscribed, you can still complete the assessment free of charge. We will email you a detailed report explaining where your business currently stands and what you would need to improve to reach a higher level.
This assessment does not grant accreditation or the right to display the WorktoGive mark unless you are a subscribed member.
What Subscribed Members Receive After Completing the Assessment
As a member, you get:
-
A recognised Responsible Business Practice accreditation
-
A scored assessment of how your business gives back
-
An accreditation level (Level 1–5)
-
A WorktoGive accreditation logo for your website and emails
-
-
A downloadable certificate
-
Clear guidance on how to increase your level over time
You are not expected to be perfect on day one.

How accreditation levels work (short, clear)
Your answers place you at one of five levels:
-
Level 1 – Entry level, participation confirmed
-
Level 2 – Early responsible practice
-
Level 3 – Consistent responsible behaviour
-
Level 4 – Strong, evidenced practice
-
Level 5 – Advanced, established practice

What this accreditation is (and isn’t)
It is:
-
A way to show that your business gives back in real, practical ways
-
A living record that grows as you take action
-
Independent, behaviour-based, and evidence-led
-
Designed for SMEs, not corporates or bid teams
It is not:
-
A marketing badge you can buy
-
A one-off declaration
-
A promise about impact you can’t prove
-
A corporate ESG framework
If you stop doing anything, the record stops growing.
That’s the point.
How scoring works
You’ll answer a short set of questions.
Each answer earns points based on behaviour, not claims.
Some points can only be earned over time, not on day one.
This prevents box-ticking and rewards consistency.
Your accreditation level increases as your record grows.
What about evidence?
At entry level, accreditation is based on your declarations.
As your level increases, you may be asked to:
-
Upload simple supporting evidence
-
Confirm recorded activity
-
Demonstrate consistency over time
No audits. No complex reporting.
Just proportionate proof.
A quick reassurance
There are no trick questions.
There is no “perfect” score.
If you’re doing something genuine, this will reflect it.
If you’re just starting out, that’s fine too.
WorktoGive is about progress, not performance.
