🌱 A milestone moment in Malawi 🌱

These photos capture something really important.

After six months of daily care and hard work, communities in Malawi are now collecting saplings from their local tree nurseries, ready for transport to our WorktoGive tree planting sites and community woodlots.

This moment matters because it’s not just about trees.
It’s about livelihoods.

The nursery work is paid work, and for these communities, this is the point where months of effort are finally rewarded. Skills are valued, time is respected, and income stays local.

Our first ten WorktoGive trees are now on their way to be planted, the start of something long-term and community-led.

This is what responsible tree planting looks like, built with people, not just planted for headlines.
