Another five trees planted!

Our Malawi Tree Programme



We are delighted to update you regarding the tree planting programme in Malawi, which is run by the charity Mbedza.



January and February are one of the busiest times of the year. It is the rainy season and therefore the season for planting saplings.



The 2026 Work to Give woodlot in Malawi is located at Chiunde village, not far from the southern city of Zomba. The village community recently prepared the site that was designated for the woodlot. This required much hard work and clearing. Following this, 5500 tree saplings were planted with 500 still to go. We are proud to be part of this on an ongoing basis!
